Mildura Hydraulics and Forklifts is a locally owned, family run business
Chris and Nerine Waters first started the Enzed Service Centre in mildura back in 1985 when they saw the need for a 24 hour hydraulic hose and fittings service in the district. The business instantly became popular with the local growers and industries
In 1999 the company became service agents for Linde Forklifts, which in turn became a satellite agent for Linde Materials handling.
With the forklift side of the business growing rapidly, Mildura Hydraulics and forklifts then joined forces with Toyota Material Handling.
Mildura Hydraulics and Forklifts are now agents for the two largest Material Handling companies in the world respectively selling and servicing only the best products that are available to their customers.
Chris Waters
Chris started his working career as a refrigeration mechanic at Devillees in Mildura. After a number of years in the trade Chris purchased a truck and became an owner/operator, carting freight from Mildura to destinations Australia-wide. Chris and his wife Nerine established the Enzed franchise in Mildura in 1985. The business has continued to grow over the years to what it is today.
Chris's passion is motorsport and cars. He was involved in Ski- Racing for many years as both a skier and observer before moving to Speedway sedans. Chris raced cars for many years and achieved numerous state championships and race wins. Chris now enjoys racing Porsches, driving at track days with various car clubs.
Chris has been heavily involved with Go-Karting with his two sons over the years, travelling all over Australia to various kart races and has been the president of the Mildura Kart Club.
Jarod Waters
Jarod was just 4 years old when his parents established Mildura's Enzed franschise. He spent a lot of time after school and on weekends helping out at the shop when he was younger. Throughout Jarod's life he has been involved with and seen the company develop to what it is today.
When Jarod turned 18 he moved to Melbourne to start an Apprenticeship as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. During his five years in Melbourne he completed his apprenticeship and gained a Certificate 4 in Aeroskills. Jarod then moved back to Mildura and began working with his parents at Mildura Hydraulics and Forklifts.
Like his father, Jarod has been heavily involved in motorsport throughout his life. He began racing Go-Karts at age 7 moving to Speedway sedans at age 12. He is still actively involved in motorsport as a mechanic for his younger brother who races a Formula Ford at the circuit racing tracks around Australia.
